March 2012: Ryan Melody and Chris Bash decide to re-launch the old SoCo Run Club with a new brand: "The Austin Beer Run Club" - Drink Yourself Fit. The very first run is Wednesday, March 28th, 2012. The Wednesday runs start/end at Doc's on Congress and the route includes the South Congress Bridge.
June 2012: The Austin Beer Run Club joins Meetup.com to gain new members.
August 2012: The Austin Beer Run Club reaches the 100 member milestone!
January 2014: The Austin Beer Run Club finds a new home with Uncle Billy's Brew & Que on Barton Springs Rd. The new location also brings a new route that includes Zilker Park and the Pfluger Pedestrian Bridge.
January 2014: The Austin Beer Run Club reaches the 500 member milestone! The ABRC Facebook page also reaches 100 likes.
April 2014: The Austin Beer Run Club celebrates their 100th official run (as part of Meetup.com) on the April 23rd Wednesday run!

October 2019: ABRC's home for 5+ years, Uncle Billy's on Barton Springs, abruptly closes.
January 2020: ABRC's lands at its new home, Hold Out Brewing.
