Chris Bash, Founder
Born in Kansas City but a Texan at heart, Chris grew up in Burleson, just south of Fort Worth, and proudly graduated from Texas Tech. He moved to Austin in 1999 and has called it home ever since.
In 2012, Chris founded the Austin Beer Run Club, which has grown to more than 4,000 members, ranking among the top 10 Meetups in Austin. Outside of community building, he’s a lifelong music enthusiast who writes songs in his spare time and owns more guitars than he’d like to admit. A few of his tracks can be found here.
Chris is also a dedicated single dad to two active kids—Graham, now 14, a wrestler and lacrosse player, and Ruby, now 10, a standout softball player and flag football quarterback. Professionally, his career spans multiple industries, always rooted in the creative side of marketing and communications. Check out his website.
